Job Description:
As a Tooling Engineer (M/F), you will manage the tooling activity for a Tier 1 automotive supplier.
The missions entrusted are the following:
– Validate the list of tools with the different departments
– Inventory the entire tooling fleet
– Define the tooling specifications: Adapt the standard specification to fit them as particular specifications
– Lead and organize technical reviews with suppliers
– Validate the design of the tool sent by the supplier
– Follow-up of the tool manufacturing at the supplier to check the tool until the pre-acceptance.
– Test the main tool in the plant until the PDCA (action plan) is completed
Profile Description:
You have an engineering degree (BAC+5) in Mechanical Engineering and you have a first successful experience as a Tooling Engineer, ideally in the automotive sector.
Expected skills are:
– Mastery of computer tools (Pack Office, SAP, ARIBA, Team Center)
– Mastery of safety rules and standards (HSE)
– Mastery of Mechanical Engineering
– Experience in project management and management methods (PDCA…)
Finally, you are fluent in English and are able to work in an international context.
