Job Description:
As part of a reinforcement of the existing team, we are looking for a Supply Chain Engineer (M/F) for our client – a Tier 1 automotive supplier – to manage the logistics of several direct customers.
Assignments are as follows:
– Be the customer’s contact and manage a panel of international customers to deliver spare parts and production parts
– Represent the customer for the site and interface with production and sales management
– Control the integration of customer requirements in the MRP, intervene to ensure that firm and forecast call deadlines are met and reduce fluctuations
– Smooth out workloads according to work resources and negotiate deadlines
– Establish and monitor the application of the Master Production Plan (MPP), lead the treatment of discrepancies
– Instruct the customer action plans to set our commitments and monitor their progress
– Manage and update customer portals
– Establish the list of products to be delivered, organize the transport and confirm the loads to the customers
– Manage packaging needs
– Ensure the continuity of information in the ERP (SAP) and correct, update when necessary.
– Be a player in the growth of the Messei site by joining the project team
– Participate in the preparation of the Industrial and Commercial Plan (ICP), verify the capacities and quantify the necessary resources
– Contribute to the continuous improvement of the logistics department’s processes, manage the processing of logistical non-conformities
– Apply and enforce the safety rules, the code of ethics and the management code.
Profile Description:
You have a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or Purchasing (BAC+5) and you have a minimum of 3 years experience in Supply Chain.
Expected skills include:
– Can handle customer relations, sales administration
– Know how to manage the transport plan, the management of the rounds
– Can carry out a planning
– Very good analytical and communication skills
– Dynamic, organized, rigorous
– Fluent English required (daily relations with foreign clients).
