Customer Quality Engineer

Job Description:

Within the framework of a new technical project for a Tier 1 automotive supplier, as a Customer Quality Engineer (M/F) you will follow the activities related to customer complaints; your missions will be the following:


– To be the privileged interlocutor of the Customer for all the Quality aspects, while accompanying as often as possible, direct contacts Customer – Factory
– Analyze the aspects related to Quality & Warranty Returns and propose the necessary adjustments for their negotiation
– To implement internally the Quality requirements of our Customers during all the phases of the product’s life, and to ensure their respect
– Actively participate in the definition of the Product-Process Quality Plans in the context of developments
– Prepare, manage and pass customer audits: system, validation of developments & modifications and follow-up of complaints
– Coordinate the resolution of customer problems in close collaboration with the quality departments of the group’s industrial sites and central services
– Actively contribute to the reduction of non-quality costs (mainly customer damage and firewalls)

Profile Description:

You have a university degree or an engineering degree (bac+5) with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position, ideally in the automotive industry. You are rigorous, have a good ability to synthesize information and speak fluent English.

Technical skills


– Good knowledge of quality tools: problem solving, PFMEA….
– Strong technical skills (mechanics, electronics…)
– Strong data analysis skills (excel…)
– Must understand the impact of his activities on quality objectives (services & products) and understand the potential risks of non-conformity on the products designed and delivered by his client
